Join us for a premiere of the new comedic-nature documentary, Where the Butterflies Go, alongside its filmmaker, Fraser Jones! The film follows Fraser in his fumbling attempt to host his own children's nature show as he travels 3,000 miles from Canada to Mexico asking North Americans how to save the endangered monarch butterfly, and ourselves, from extinction.

Earth Matter NY is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the art, science, and application of composting in and around New York City. Earth Matter NY accepts and processes food waste generated by NYC residents, including through a partnership with DSNY’s NYC Compost Project. Through a partnership with The Trust for Governors Island, they process all of the landscape waste and food waste generated by island partners and visitors of Governors Island.
Island Bee Project's grand vision is to revitalize communities with mindfulness and gratitude towards nature and our symbiotic relationship to the world around us by supporting urban pollinator habitats. They offer talks, demonstrations and other hands-on, creative experiences to maximize the circular value of the apiary while showcasing their vision to preserve urban honeybees.
